ENZ Arthur Mead Award

The Arthur Mead Award is Engineering New Zealand Auckland Branch's premier award, given to projects that demonstrate true sustainable practices. ENZ approached us with a brief to document the making of the award.

2024 marked the first year that the Arthur Mead Awards were handmade by local artists. With a rich background to the award, we went into the history, before touching on the symbolism of the new design. We also visited blacksmith Rudi at his workshop in the bush out at Karekare on Aucklands West Coast to film a visual sequence of him making the award.
